International Projects

Since the day of its establishment, the Commission has been actively cooperating with international organizations. One of the most important partners is US Agency of International Development (USAID) that greatly contributed to the development of the Regulatory Commission and its basic legislation. It is of strategic importance for the Commission to develop and strengthen international relations with the regulatory authorities of Europe and the USA. The Commission is one of the member-founder organization of ERRA, Energy Regulatory Regional Association that unites East Europe and Post-Soviet States. Moreover, Georgia recently joined Energy Community and actively cooperates with it. The Commission has very close relations with the regulatory authorities in the region.
