The Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) Chairman, Professor Davit Narmania gave a public lecture on economy and business issues at the Georgian Technical University. University professors and undergraduate, master's and doctoral students of various faculties attended the lecture.

Within the framework of the public lecture, Davit Narmania spoke in details on the liberal tax policy, focused on legislative obligations, the main directions of economic activity, the manner of issuing licenses and the easiness of starting a business.

Davit Narmania reviewed the examples of different countries, spoke on the necessity of reforming the tax space of Georgia in a number of directions. In addition, he emphasized the functions and role of independent regulatory commissions operating in Georgia in the process of development of regulated sectors, spoke on the necessity of competition.

The GNERC Chairman introduced the students to the news in the energy sector, among others his spoke on green hydrogen issues, energy saving devices and other innovative projects. At the end of the public lecture, Davit Narmania answered the students' questions, which related to the economic and energy directions of Georgia
