Maia Melikidze, Commissioner of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission participated in the MEDREG’s key institutional event, the third version of its Presidents Workshop on “The Role of a Coherent Regulation in Promoting Energy Transition in the Mediterranean Region”, that was held on the 14th of June 2023 in Rhodes, Greece. 

The meeting took the form of a round table discussion, during which Maia Melikidze addressed the topic of liberalizing the regional energy market. She provided insights into the challenges associated with this process and emphasized the pivotal role of regulatory reforms in overcoming these challenges
