Commissioners of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), Givi Sanikidze and David Tvalabeishvili, participated in the General Assembly and Chairmen Meeting of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA), held in Ankara, Turkey, on October 13–14. The event was attended by the chairpersons of the regulatory commissions of the association’s member countries.

During the meetings, the Commissioners informed participants about the organizational aspects of the 9th World Forum on Energy Regulation, taking place in Tbilisi in 2026, hosted by GNERC. In addition, Givi Sanikidze and David Tvalabeishvili took part in discussions on renewable energy self-consumption, energy communities, and small networks.

The Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) unites regulatory authorities from more than 40 countries and serves as a platform for sharing experience and developing regulatory standards in the energy sector. GNERC is one of the founding members of the association.
