The Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) has set tariffs and fees for electricity generation units. Based on the tariff setting methodologies tariffs for the Hydro Power Plants have been approved for the 3-year regulatory period, whereas guaranteed capacity fees for Thermal Power Plants have been set for 1-year period. The new tariffs shall enter into force on January 1, 2021.
Electricity generation tariff for Enguri HPP LLC for 2021-2023 has been defined in an amount of 1.857 Tetri/kWh, whereas current tariff constitutes 1.358 Tetri/kWh.
Vardnili HPP Cascade tariffs for 2021-2023 has constituted 2.565 Tetri/kWh, whereas current tariff constitutes 2.206 Tetri/kWh.
Tariffs for have been also set for the HPPs owned by the Energo Pro Georgia Generation JSC – Rioni HPP, Lajanuri HPP, Dzevrula HPP and Gumati HPP Cascade the period of 2021-2023:
New tariff for Rioni HPP has been set in an amount of 1.436 Tetri/kWh, whereas current tariff constitutes 4.060 Tetri/kWh;
New tariff for Gumati HPP has been set in an amount of 2.494 Tetri/kWh, whereas current tariff constitutes 2.209 Tetri/kWh;
New tariff for Lajanuri HPP has been set in an amount of 2.768 Tetri/kWh, whereas current tariff constitutes 1.679 Tetri/kWh;
New tariffs for Dzevrula HPP has been set in an amount of 4.653 Tetri/kWh, whereas current tariff constitutes 1.986 Tetri/kWh;
The following guaranteed capacity fees for the Thermal Power Plants for the period of January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 have been set:
G Power LLC - 40.585 Gel/Day, whereas current fee is 47.898 Gel/Day;
Gardabani Thermal Power Plant LLC - 423.024 Gel/Day, whereas current fee is 404.214 Gel/Day;
Mtkvari Energy LLC (N9 Block) - 69.649 Gel/Day, whereas current fee is 77.330 Gel/Day;
New fee for the N3 Block under the ownership of the Unified Energy Corporation of Georgia LLC has constituted 21.635 Gel/Day, whereas current fee is 25.159;
Fee for N4 Block – 23.594 Gel/Day, whereas current fee is 27.444 Gel/Day.
