The meeting with the representatives of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and consultancy company “NERA” was held at the Commission on February 28, 2020. Ms. Maia Melikidze, Commissioner at GNERC, and representatives of Electricity and International Relations’ Departments participated in the meeting. The focus of the meeting was the project financed by the EBRD on introducing auction mechanism for integration of 50 MW solar power plant into the network.  The representatives of the Commission briefed the participants of the meeting about the developments and challenges in the energy sector of Georgia.
