On the basis of joint cooperation between the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission and LEPL - Data Exchange Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, a new service – agreeing projects of linear structure, has been added to unified portal of electronic services – www.my.gov.ge. Electricity, natural gas, water supply licensees and communication sector companies can benefit from the service based on the decision of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission and the Georgian National Communications Commission.

The service enables utility services and communication companies to agree electronically projects of linear construction among themselves, as well as with other authorised persons and apply to relevant municipalities for final approval after reaching the agreement.

The above-mentioned service significantly simplifies the procedure of implementation of works in energy and other communication sectors and reduces the time for receiving permits/approval. As a result, trust is improved, as well as the connection period is decreased, and administrative procedures and periods are reduced at the expense of improved quality of services.

It is possible to receive more than 500 electronic services of public sector remotely on unified portal of electronic services.
