Direct customer is customer of the wholesale electricity market who receives electricity (capacity) from the networks owned by a generation, transmission, micro-generating power plant or any network owned by other consumer and whose average monthly consumption does not exceed 15 mln. kWh electricity totally for all supply points on this network (s) by calendar year data. This type of customer, as a mandatory rule, shall register for the status of a direct customer. Any other customer can become a direct customer if it meets the terms and conditions determined by the Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules and has voluntarily registered for participation in the wholesale trade as a direct customer of electricity.
