If you are willing to receive and consume electricity, the first thing you need to do is register as a subscriber which is free of charge.
For that, you must submit an application to the service center of the relevant distribution licensee and provide all documentation requested.
After the registration of a new customer, the distribution company shall draw up an Act that will include all data provided by the customer as well as the type and unique number of the meter, initial metering data, lug number and the period for planned inspection of the meter. You have the right to request and attend the process of drawing up an act and the company has the responsibility to inform you about the relevant date and time.
As a new customer, after registration, you can request the Deed of Purchase to be drawn up between you and the distribution licensee. The latter shall be liable to start power supply immediately, unless you have indicated some other date in the application.
In case of non-household customers, the company has right to inspect the electric installations of the customer and their compatibility with technical and safety standards. If the installed capacity of electric installations connected to one point are below 1kW, the parties are authorized to agree about non-metered power consumption. In this case, the amount of the consumed electricity will be calculated based on the installed capacity of electric installations connected to the network and the number of operated hours.
